Kintsugi Workshop

14 July 2026
West Ryde, Sydney

“Every crack holds a story. Every repair is an act of hope.”

Our second Kintsugi workshop returned to West Ryde for an afternoon of mending, gold and quiet reflection. Participants chose sculptural pieces, including vases, figurines and classical busts, then broke, rebuilt and traced each fracture in gold, guided step by step by Sahar Mokhtari.

Bathed in late-afternoon light and surrounded by fresh native flowers, the group discovered how the places where something breaks can become its most beautiful feature.
